Article 1. Scope

These terms apply to the CleanPageShot Chrome extension, website, license API and paid features. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

Article 2. The service

CleanPageShot is a Chrome extension that saves the web page you are viewing as a screenshot when you ask it to. By default it adds no URL, date, page title, extension name, watermark, header or footer to the output.

Article 3. Free and Pro features

Free includes PNG saving, copying the image, output without URL, date or watermark, and suppressing repeated sticky headers. Pro adds saving as JPEG, WebP and PDF, automatic saving and filename templates.

Article 4. License

Pro features are provided on the basis of a valid license confirmed by webhook. Apart from the license key, a randomly generated install ID and the extension version, no page content or screenshots are sent for license checks. License keys are stored as hashes on the server.

Article 5. Payment

Paid plans are paid through Stripe Checkout. Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically each period. Lifetime is a one-time purchase. Payment methods, billing and card details are handled by Stripe.

Article 6. Cancellation

Monthly and Annual plans can be cancelled through the billing portal or the contact form. After cancelling, Pro features remain available until the end of the current billing period.

Article 7. Refunds

Refund conditions are set out on the Refunds page. As a digital product, refunds after purchase are limited in principle, but duplicate payments, billing errors and serious defects are handled case by case.

Article 8. Prohibited use

Misuse of the service, sharing or reselling license keys, reverse engineering, circumventing payment or authentication, and use that violates laws or the rights of others are prohibited.

Article 9. External services and changes

The service depends on external services and browser specifications such as Chrome, the OS, Cloudflare and Stripe. Changes to these may change the supported environments or features.

Article 10. Disclaimer

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for unavailability, data loss, image quality or layout not meeting expectations, or damage caused by outages of external services.

Article 11. Changes to these terms

The operator may change these terms when necessary. Important changes are announced on the website. Using the service after a change means you agree to the changed terms.

Article 12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute about the service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction, in the first instance, of the Japanese court with jurisdiction over the operator’s location.
